Secrets of my 16-year-old marriage-Nollywood’s tallest actor, Nath Ruskin Georgewill

By JAMES EMMANUEL

If you think Hank Anuku is the tallest actor in Nollywood, wait until you come across Nath Ruskin Georgewill, the congenial Nollywood actor whose height is not only intimidating but also causes ripples, especially in the Nigerian movie industry.
In this hearty chat with Entertainment Express, the Rivers State-born brawny actor who is currently the Director of Guild Services in the Lagos State chapter of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) shared the story of his life, especially the secrets of his 16-year-old marriage.
Briefly give us an insight about yourself
My full name is Nathaniel Ruskin Georgewill and I’m from the Ijaw tribe of Rivers State. I was born about 43-years ago and expectedly I’m married with kids. I’m an actor, a model and also a business man.  I’ve also been involved in Apape Local Government politics, where I rose to a top position. At the moment, I’m the elected Director of Guild Services of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Lagos State chapter.  I’m six feet six inches tall; a very friendly, nice and wonderful person. Lots of people say I’m the tallest actor in Nollywood; even at that, I don’t intimidate people with my height.
What are the advantages of being the tallest actor in Nollywood?
It enhances my profile among other actors. It also enables me to fit into different and diverse roles. For instance, I can fit into so many roles; I can play the role of a doctor, minister, politician, and so on, but on the other hand I cannot fit into roles meant for shorter people.
Tell us more about your acting career
I actually started as a model in the late 1990.  During my modeling career, I did lots of great jobs. From there I switched over to acting in 2003; at a point I left acting and later came back fully in 2005. Since then, I have featured in over 80 movies, including My Darling Princess, Weeping Tiger, Total Control, Crying Angel, and so many others. I have also written some movie scripts.
What do you think earned you your first movie role?

Top soundtrack composer, Mike Nliam drops new single-Nwantinti

Mike Nliam
By JAMES EMMANUEL

Few months after dazzling music buffs with his single entitled Loving You, top soundtrack composer-cum-filmmaker, Mike Nliam is again set to thrill lovers of good music with the recent release of another single entitled Nwantinti.
In a recent chat with JEMEDIA REPORTS, the multifaceted Imo State-born entertainer revealed why he veered into music, abandoning the course he spent many years studying. “I knew I had love for music right from when I was in the secondary school; that was when I started learning how to write songs. Then I had a jotter where I wrote down songs and that was how I was able to l
earn the structure of songs, how to compose and how to write lyrics with rhymes,” he disclosed.
On why he didn’t study music, Nliam stated thus: “The background where I came from is not the type you would tell your parents that you want to study music. At that time, music was seen as a profession for the unserious minded ones. I really had a battle between going for my passion (music) and academics. My people felt music was for the unserious people.  Though they enjoyed other people’s music but they couldn’t imagine their own son being in that field because they saw musicians as smokers, and drunkards. There was a lot of clash, though I finally studied something else, but I still made up my mind on doing music. I studied Agricultural Economics at the University of Ilorin. That is why I have always attributed my breakthrough to the gift God deposited in me”
He further described his kind of music: “I listen to all kinds of music and I can sing to any beat. I don’t have any particular kind of music because music is so dynamic. In music, the trend changes and one must learn to grow with the trend. I can do all kinds of music,” he boasted.

Shocker: All men watch porn

Pornography, or porn, refers to sexually explicit material intended to sexually arouse. Today porn is viewable at the click of a button by anyone with an Internet connection. What effect has the ubiquity of porn had on us? Is it a harmless pastime or a pernicious addiction? A fun way to add spice to a couple's life, or a relationship destroyer?

All Catholics will go to hell-Chris Okotie

All Catholics in the world will go to hell because they worship Satan and are led by an Anti-Christ Pope who is a friend to the devil, Nigeria’s controversial preacher and former presidential candidate, Chris Okotie, told his congregation on Sunday, leaving members bewildered.
Fifty-five year old Okotie, while preaching in his Household of God Church in Ikeja area of Lagos, western Nigeria, said the Catholic church is “a counterfeit church set up by Satan” and that Catholics “bow to idols and crucify Jesus every Sunday when they eat bread claiming they are eating Jesus’ body.”
“They are not Christians and have never been,” Okotie told a stunned congregation.
“They don’t know Jesus. They believe that when they eat bread on Sundays, they are eating the body of Jesus. It’s ritual,” Okotie said.
